The control valve move in and out. If I remember pull the shaft out to move the winch in and push the valve in to run the winch out. I am guessing the valve in frozen in place. Also you may need a new cable.

I do not think the light comes on when you put it in low range. They sometimes can be hard to get into low. Are you sure the airlock on the transfer case is unlocking when you push the button on the shiftier.

I am adding on to my 30x50 shade I already have. I am adding 25x45. So I can put the M936 and the M970 in it and have a little storage at the back.

I put the wrecker to work building some shade for it and other trucks and used it to work on my Grader.I could of used a lift, btu it was more fun with the M936.

You have to change the color after you cut and paste. I have one mount and one mud flap if anyone is interested. The mud flap bar has a little bend in it, works just fine.

10wt oil comes in it from the Military. But I think any good hyd fluid would work fine if you change all of the old out first. I put 10wt back in my m936.

I did a boot some weeks back and the wire clamp had the nut welded to the wire clamp, that is the way to go. A lot easier to start the screw.

No you do not. Remove the safty wire, screws, metal ring and the old boot. Also the wire ring that holds the boot on. Then clean the axle area and put the new boot on. But you need about four hands to do it.

Rick, I think I met you the other day when you were getting some parts in AZ. Are trying to engage the pto when the trans. is in 1-5? That is how you need to engage the pto. Then to run the winch you move the trans. back to N. I think when you put the trans in 1-5 the pto should stop turning...
