    Generator needs some cross ventilation so the exhaust can go somewhere else, open the ends should be sufficient. MEP002A was meant to be outside, but protected from rain and snow.

    Heavy duty hat channel is what they are attached to on the generator trailers. Just measured it, steel is .178 inch thick and the top of the hat is five inches wide. You might find someone parting out a generator trailer and get the pieces from them.

    The burners can get real finicky if the voltage drops too much when they try to light off, as I found out the hard way at the Monroe, NC airshow late last year. If your inverter is only putting out 26 volts, don't expect to get more than one burner working at a time.
