Would EcoHubs benefit from reprogramming Allison shift points?

It's a helper spring setup that augments the coil springs when the camper was on it. In my LMTV, I was thinking about only leaving the leaf springs that are captive in the mount and shackle, for obvious reasons, and then using King coilovers to gain back the load capacity to get a more compliant...

Would EcoHubs benefit from reprogramming Allison shift points?

Air bags are tough to do without seriously limiting suspension trave due to how quickly the spring rate increases as the bags are compressed, and the pretty limited travel between fully extended and fully compressed. I built a long travel airbag system for my ram that achieves full...

    Petlas 395-85 R20 tires

I thought the Michelins were the tire everyone wants to avoid due to frequent blowouts? Is that a different Michelin?

    Petlas 395-85 R20 tires

Just checked their site, looks like no 395's currently.

    Petlas 395-85 R20 tires

You can get MPT81’s in 395/80 R20 new from expedition imports. Great tires in every respect accept tread life. Supposedly there is a new version coming with a new rubber compound that supposedly improves tread life by 30%.

    Petlas 395-85 R20 tires

And stock size. I think the only way to get HCS's in this country is military surplus as they are used on some vehicles, so don't know if you could find these in stock size here. https://vrakking-tires.com/20-inch/167-39585r20-continental-hcs.html

    Petlas 395-85 R20 tires

The tires I'm most interested in are the Continental HCS. Seems the folks running them on overland vehicles really like them. I personally have had really good luck with the Conti MPT 81's in 335/80 R20 on my Ram. I'm on my 4th set and haven't ever gotten an out of round tire. The HCS's are...

Yes, I realized that when trying to attach it. Didn't really want to mess with that but did anyway. Even though it has been uploaded to youtube, when I try to insert the link it says I can't.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Thanks, the noise may be the deciding factor for me. Tire noise really isn’t an issue with the stock MVT’s.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Any of you folks running 14R20's with ECO hubs? Contemplating switching over, but a little concerned about further raising the gearing. Also curios about longevity and reliability of the Goodyear ORD's for those with experience with them.

Hmmm, maybe the earlier trans programs are different?

Would EcoHubs benefit from reprogramming Allison shift points?

My C7 powered A1R shifts into 7th at 70mph under normal throttle. If I have my foot in it it’s more like 75. If I run it up to 67 and the slowly lift off the accelerator it will shift into 7th. It will cruise at 60 in 7th as long as it’s pretty flat highway and I keep my foot out of it. I’m...

    LMTV FMTV Exhaust Brake Questions?

But is it an interstate with a 75mph speed limit where you are driving 60-65mph? I live in the hills as well, every direction from my house is downhill on steep winding roads. Speed limits range from 25 to 40mph and on the hills that are 40mph, 3rd gear is lower than I want to be in in most...
