Had the same problem with the brakes on my 931, left side, both rears would stick to drums, now I leave it hooked up to the trailer, not an issue with stuck brakes.... knock on wood.
I have had 0 trouble with Oklahoma using only an SF97, for both 5t trucks and multiple trailers. I am only using it for private use and there was no issues for me, but I have an EXCELLENT tag lady. I think alot has to do with if they tag rep. wants to go through 1 more piece of paper to fill...

Heavy Zip ties are something else to carry.
Fuel cut off solenoid throws a fit zip tie it open. Brake pot blows a diaphragm, cage the pot and fold the air lines over and zip tie them. Loose a bolt out of the mirror bracket, zip tie it.
