When I get my new display from China in about 2 weeks, I will do another write up to show assembly/disassembly for those of you who might need to do it.
I started to play with my 805b the other day, and notice some moisture in the display. Removed box from genny and took it to the shop to 'have a closer look' As I was carrying it to the shop, water was dripping out of the front glass, well thats not good.
Get to the shop, take the back off...
I have the same 33kw load bank, most of its life is spend unused, but when you are working on a genny, its so easy to hook up/load and then the gremlins are easier to find. Also got a 400hz load tester on the trailer, dont know if it will ever get used, but its alot easier to have it and not...

Did you ever get an answer? I am running into problems with Texas not wanting to title a M915 as a CMV, Oklahoma had no problem with it, the truck ran for 2 yrs in OK with interstate/prorated tags, now Texas doesnt want to tag it because 'there is no sticker on the truck that says it is DOT...
If it were me, and I say again, if it were me.... i would set it up outside the shop, have a very large fire extinguisher at the ready and I would give it a go. Worst case scenario you have a flameout when the heat exchanger explodes. I would give it a try, heck I might get you to send me one so...
escobar,
I had to put one relay in the freezer over night, then put it in the heater and it worked. It is also the relay that came from the 'red headed step child' heater, so it was our guinea pig. We were so fed up with it not working, we didnt care if it never worked again. We drilled holes...
here is another thread you might want to look at if you are having trouble getting your heater to fire.
