my 5 ton did that a couple times, once in the 4th of july parade. had to put it in low range to move, and it stopped by itself. the m/c had crap in it , not letting the plunger return. replaced the m/c and been fine ever since.
iyeh, int title ser. is the way to go. try a friend in n.h. first. the dmv is a nightmare. i had one woman ,then she had to check with someone else, then he had to call boston, and then they said there had to be more than 5 serial #s. after 2 hrs they just wrote it up and said go to another...
i've been using one of those coleman tent heaters in my buggie for the past 5 years while plowing. i set in the right side floorand put a 20# propane in the bed, and run a 10 foot hose thru a hole in the floor to the heater.like they say , with all the drafts in the thing, you will not kill...
once in a while take it somewhere and go about 20 miles an hr and jump on the brakes. i was towing my p/u one day , went to slow down for a corner and pedal went right to the floor. always get ready to pull the emergency. had to do it a few times already. almost done replacing all the lines now.
reminds of a time way back i got thrown off a parkway in jersey in my p/u. the cop said if i had a cap on it , there'd be no problem??? went down the street, found another on ramp, and booked for mass.
just like the brake fluid ghost. before i go anywhere i peek in the master cylinder and sure enough the ghost has stolen some of my fluid, not much, but enough to say where the he-- is that stuff going?? use about a pint a year.especially when i do alot of plowing.
