I've finally made my way back to this, it ended up being the external wiring harness, the whole wiring was a hack job, the wire that controls the torque converter had come out the crimp.
Just curious, has anyone ever built/fabricated a hard door on the soft door frame? I'm thinking about doing this so I can switch between soft and hard doors without worrying about the stryker, and to be honest, I'm not a fan of the x doors and starting to get a bit tired of them
Mines just don't want to lock/unlock the torque converter when it gets up to highway speed which makes the RPMs be around 2,500-2600 at 60Mph and for some reason it loses overdrive if Im in heavy stop/go traffic after driving for about an hour, I think that probably has something to do with the...
Jeez, I bet the rates on that 3m policy is insane, I'm looking for the 1M policy, I had got a quote through progressive on just my 08 colorado and it was 1k a month for just a 1m policy
After reading all of this, it's actually unbelievable that Colorado hates MVs so much, I thought California was bad, but this is next level. You can't even go to parades or special events. You might as well just sell your MV if you're in Colorado or put it outside for a yard ornament, after...
I thought about doing the same thing with that guy is doing on facebook. List all of my MVs for an insane price and if someone is foolish enough to bite, I can buy 3 of the same MVs
This right here is exactly why I didn't use a plastic fuel hose when I bypass the FDC. I recommend putting your hazards/blinkers on when driving on the highway, usually the troopers would ignore you in that case or a slow speed vehicle sign in the back.
Has anyone ever gotten commercial insurance on their truck? From what I understand, it'll be pretty hard considering it doesn't have a 17 digit vin number.
Been back using the 9.00R20, I'm not going to lie, I prefer the truck so much with the stock tires. The brakes are so much better, turning is so much better, acceleration is much better, and the truck seems much happier (A lot less black smoke when hammering it and the transmission seems easy to...
Yea, I've considered the OD Eaton 5 speed, but the one that can fit is very hard to find. I went from 395s back to the 9.00R20. I feel like the 395s put way too much stress on the truck and it really turns the truck from a slow goat to a slow pig, not to mention how awful the brakes are with...
Alright guys, I think I will be going back to the NDTs next week. I'll just wire my radio and A/C back up, its not so bad going 45-47 when you're somewhat comfortable
