Last long drive I did I was keeping steady at about 55mph and got 6.3mpg. I'm willing to bet if I was going convoy speed at 45mph it would have been closer to 7.
Sorry about that Seth. They weren't even on my radar until this thread kept popping up. If you need them to get your truck running I can forward them along.
All the TMs are available at the top of the page. I have mine on a flash drive that I can carry with me in the truck. I have a hard...
I just got 3 of the haldex KN25060 valves off eBay for $26 each compared to the going price of $43. I'm not having any problems yet but figure it's something good to have in the toolbox so when I'm in the middle of no where and one goes out I'll have a spare or two or three.
Other than being kind of difficult to get the roof up without the jacks I can't see anything wrong with it. I've had both a 90 and a 99 and liked them equally.

Appears that Keith's cleaning job did the trick. I took the truck out to refuel and ran it up and down the highway until the fan kicked in. Since it was also working on the way over Friday I'll need to take it back out later in the week and test it again. I'm willing to bet that did the trick...
Had the good fortune of Keith_J needing to borrow my battery charger this morning. I had to head out for a Dr appointment and while I was gone he pulled the solenoid out and cleaned it up. We'll see if that does the trick.
The second time I had left it out. That's why I think the fan simply stayed on. I don't know if the solenoid was sticking so didn't activate when just pulling the CB or if it needed the tanks emptied a second time to get it to trip. Either way, pulling the CB, leaving it out, AND draining the...
It's likely. I don't know if adding an anti-cavitation additive would help or not. The location of the sensor is another of the poorly designed aspects of the truck. I'd think they would have put it somewhere that it would always be submerged instead of the bend of a pipe where there could be...
Great weekend camping! The truck did fantastic on the way up but had fan issues again on the way back. I'm not sure why sitting for 48 hours would cause an issue but the temps started climbing on the way home and no fan. Once it hit 210 I found the first convenience store and pulled in.
I...
