I put 16" trailer rims and trailer tires for pulling behind a 3500 Ram.
Leveled out fine, and tires are available anywhere.,
If using it with the Hmmwv, then swap out the tire/wheels.
Trailer rims have a big center hole to fit the trailer hub.
Cucv wheels dont fit due to center hole to small.
12K frames also have different X members .[ all 4 ].
And different diff. brackets...[ all 10 ].
Might be a clearance issue with the bigger rotors and the X members.
The labor to fix the stud if fixable and then to freshin up the starter would probably be more than a surplus new starter.
As rusty as it looks....the rest of it may be pretty corroded.
Starter has another mounting stud which goes in a bracket at the motor mount......they get loose in bracket...
The milemarker winch controller is yellow and has two push buttons.
The controllers from Warn are black and are wired different....just switch wires around.
It is somewhat complicated......there 3 T/C's used on the early trucks.
What T/C do you have ?
NP218, or NP242 early one [ with 3 bolt tail cone ], or later NP242 with [ 4 bolt tail cone ].
Mid shaft -3096 only used with NP218,....-5043 used with both NP242's.
I have them available also.
