Could be the same occurrence where the aluminum fan hub disintegrates. Be grateful that it didn't do it at 2500 RPM like mine did throwing the fan into the...
Well everything is assembled except for the ice (dry and not so dry) for the cooler. I'm hoping to get on the road Thursday morning as it's at least 8 hours worth of driving in the M1009 (including a couple of pit stops for fuel, food, and evacuations). I'd like to get the camp set up before...
It's extremely easy to pull the rear axle shafts for towing vs disconnecting the drive shaft. I was broke down on I-10 and had the shafts out and stored before the tow truck got there. I had assumed he would run air lines from his truck to mine so didn't cage the brakes but something didn't...
Electrical issues are common. Either be a Ninja with a multimeter or make friends with someone that is. Common maintenance on everything else is fairly straightforward. There have been a number of issues with military mechanics swapping airlines to the wrong valves so something to be aware of...

As a veteran I think it would be MORE disrespectful to take another veteran (the M35) and paint it anything BUT military colors. As long as you're not trying to pass yourself or the truck off as active duty then anything back to original is just a tribute.

Still bigger than my calf. I'm hoping it's down enough to get out of this boot by next week. I tried driving left footed today and didn't have much luck.
Looks like Keith might have figured out what was causing the short in the circuit breaker panel causing the tail lights not to work. There had been something mounted on the panel cover at some point where the put rivnuts through the panel and then about 1.5" bolts. Since whatever was being...
