Agree on the injector. often it will make a knocking noise and unfortunately excessive fuel will wipe the liner out along with the piston. Happened on a friend's cummins 5.9.
If you go with the 11/20's like mine, you can only chain the outside duals, and the front tires. There is not enough clearance to run 3T or singles on the inside.
GPH= Max HP x BSFC (.5lbs fuel per HP) typical engine example = approx 230hp divided by .5 = 115lbs per hour fuel. Divided by 6 lbs per gallon is slightly under 20 gallons per hour wide open throttle. Just plug in your engine HP and do the math so theres no guessing.
most likely metal particles that have not made it through the intake/cylinders and out the exhaust, are now coated on the compression rings. A oil analysis would be in order before changing it.

@ Montaillou... I understand your situation...especially the part where if a shop cannot do a job, or has too much work, they should have the courtesy to at least call back, instead of just deleting a voice mail. Those are the shops that will not correct something under warranty that they have...
