I think I am going to get one of those as well, I WANT it to have a military one on it, but this truck is a daily driver and a pintleball is a lot more useful.
I see that you are using one of the civilian pintle/ball hitches, was your pintle missing when you got your truck? Mine does not have one and doesn't appear to have had one for quite a while.
I discovered today that one of my 6TLs is bad in my Deuce, the truck has not been driven in a month though I start it regularly, it just went down. I will not be replacing it with mil batts!

I live in Central Texas, fuel warmth is not an issue, and with a drain in a spin on filter I can remove water easily. This truck is going to be a daily driver so I don't mind making the filter system less complicated and engineering out a troublesome, expensive and hard to find part.
Isn't lilac more of a blue/purple color?
