if you can use that fact that it doesn't work properly to maybe get a lower price go for it, i would pay 100 for it if it was in good condition looks wise, not all rusted and banged up and if the motor itself was good. the motor is worth that if it runs reasonably well. go for it
replace every rubber or wearable part of the braked, get new or rebuilt wheel cylinders, new rubber lines, check your air pack and master cylinder. check all springs and pads as well as the drums. just remember, the pedal only has to go to the floor once and then nightmare time

when you used the flaring tool, how far in the holder did you have the line, if its not right it either puts to Little of a flare or over flares it and over stretches it
thanks again for the info guys, i was actually able to find one station pretty close by that sells it, its a shell station that has one pump designated for unblended fuel. what is blended with the fuel to make it so bad for the float
i pulled my uncles onto a flatbed trailer with a ancient looking block and tackle with a good rope. just hooked one side of pulleys to the trailer, and the other to the bumper, then tied off the pull rope to the bumper of my wife's car and up it went, smooth and safe. you have to love...

i got my insurance from one of the smaller companys. mine is from a place called schrader and murphy. they didnt have a problem with it, they just made me come down and they took some pics and off i went. for liability only, with normal tags i pay 45 a month. they are here in washington so...
as long as you do a all points inspection on the trailer, have all safety requirements, lights and all that, then go for it. if you have any doubts at all, haul it back, not worth the risk on a iffy trailer just to save a few bucks

just keep looking and you will eventually find what you want. it took me a year to find a good one from a member on hear. they are getting rarer at auctions and some of the gsa ones i have seen lately are in real bad shape. you will find one eventually
