It's like M16ty is saying, if you are in an accident that is going to cost 10s or 100s of thousands of $ in liability, they're going to see your vehicle. The adjusters on both sides are going to see it, and the lawyers on both sides are going to see it.
I ran into that as well. One of the charts, indicating which valves to adjust at a given timing mark, is wrong. You adjust the injector when it's in the closed position, but the chart had me torquing it when open. When it tries to close, it's already closed. A bad way to ruin a good injector.
That's on the Indiana/Ohio line, isn't it?
That would put me a little more than 2 hours out. I'll see how the ditch/conduit inspection goes. If it's done mid afternoon, I'll check back here on his situation.
Where exactly is the located? I'm about 1:45 from cinci. We're installing an underground conduit, but should be done mid afternoon.
I had an over-volt problem on our deuce, it was a bad battery connection. It would connect enough to crank the truck, but then would lose connection, from...

Moderators can edit, delete, and otherwise manipulate posts and threads. Mangus actually manipulates the website. Everything you see, and everything you can do, is because he has loaded and enabled the vBulletin and probably other...
That depends on how big an impact wrench you can find at the local flea market.
This one is a 1", and cost me $50. I had to buy the sockets, adapter, and extension, but they were only around $60 at NAPA.
I would find someone that will let you "borrow" their scale (I use the local landfill) and see if they will let you weigh just the front axle, then just the back. A rock quarry would have a scale as well.
True, the wheel bearings are packed. I'm not sure you could ever keep enough oil in them to keep them from cooking. The system has worked for 40 years, why change it now?
You will need the lug/bud wrench, or appropriate sockets, a 3" 8-SIDED wheel bearing nut socket, and a 3/4" socket to remove...
I tried this yesterday, and it really works. I bet the inside cab temperature was 10-15 degrees lower than having the windows open, sucking the hot air through the floor and firewall holes.
Thanks for the tip.
