    CUCV Trailer Wiring

Actually there are a pair of the weather-pak connectors that the trailer plug connects to in the harness. I suspect if one had the ability to make the plugs.. a T could be done up.

    CUCV Trailer Wiring

If the T system does not work... I would suggest either soldiering and shrink-tubing... or using these animals Posi-Lock(TM) - The Best Connectors You'll Ever Use!

    CUCV Trailer Wiring

Your best bet, would be to locate the T system used for civvy trucks. I'm not sure if anyone makes them still for the older trucks or not, but it would leave your originally plug alone. Basically you are putting a T in the middle of a stock factory connection. Check Hoppy's site for info...

What could we feed our trucks when in a life/death situation?

Yanno, toss the zombies aside, this thread COULD be useful for people in the hurricane belt, or other major natural disaster centers. Doghead raises a good point of keeping your tank full.... Although its both helpful and detrimental. It will help keep condensation out of the tank, and will...

When the gauge does that, its usually a bad ground someplace. How is the ground connection on the top of the sending unit?

General Discussions Forum Needs To Be Created

Just do a search on it... Our wishes have been stated many times. And quite frankly, we were just discussing the possible removal of the conversations forum that we DO have because people cant keep it on topic. This is a military vehicle site.... If you want to talk Guns, go to a gun...

I have seen it said the wiring in the military column is different. It might only be the ignition switch, but i am not sure. I am sure you will let us know :-)

    MEP002 In m101

If I recall.... (we are talking about the 002, 5kw, right?) the TM says it will use up the onboard tank in about 8 hours. So if you calc a gallon per hour... you are safe :-)

Ken what part of your throttle cable is bad? I have one that the plastic handle is busted on. Heck, I still have the whole engine we talked about a while back... if you are still interested PM me.

    MEP002 In m101

You will probably be ok with what you are planning. As for the intank pump... no need. The MEP-002 has a 'aux' fueling setup. There is a float in the main tank that opens a valve when the tank gets below a certain point. It refills it using a 3rd electric pump. Basically connect the fuel...

    MEP002 In m101

The only thing you might want to think about is the weight of all the fuel on the tongue. When the 002 was mounted on the M116 trailer, it was set about 18" in from the back. (eye measurement out the window) Basically centering the weight of the generator over the axle. Even sliding it back...
