At this point in time I am not part of the crews for the currently planned B29/B24 tours. If I am at Thunder over Michigan, it will be with the P51.

The B29 ("FIFI") will be on tour this year, accompanied at most venues by the B24 ("Diamond Lil") and the Cavanaugh Flight Museum P51 ("The Brat III"). All three aircraft will be offering "Living History rides" at most venues.
However, the aircraft won’t make it to Michigan until August...

The diesel engine in th early 80s MB4, was the same 4 cyl, 433T turbocharged 200cid engine used in the Allis Chalmer 6060, 6070 and 6080 model tractors. Tractor dealers may have the enigine and parts manuals. Try mainetractorscom .....disclaimer...no affiliation...etc

Thanks for the quick replies. When the temperature gets down to below 110 in the main workshop, and the B-29 gets out of my way, I will try your suggestions.
As for drive shafts....I have no idea how old they are or when they were last balanced. Also I dont know if the joints are New/NOS...

Within the last 6 months I have had 4 different drivers all experience the death wobble, and I cant seem to narrow down the problem. It normally occurs at about 35 to 40 mph, usually following a change of road...
