Enjoy it... every time I go to Low's or Hom Dep, I love loading it up with stuff that would make a normal truck CRY....
It's a beautiful feeling when you're cruising around town, and hit the right gear to pull out of a turn, and just zipping around like a big ol' SUV.
I love mine.
I took a nice little 40 mile cruise, just to keep her happy. I stopped at about 20 miles and checked for leaks and hub temp. Found the drivers side rear/rear hub pretty warm, so i let it cool off for a bit and headed back home.
That hub was the one i just put all new seals (inner and outer). It...
I'm very happy with my flipped hubs. It looks great, AND it is much easier to get to the lug nuts.
Plus the MRAP air ports being in the recess of the rim, it would be almost impossible to air them up without modifying the rims.
It's not a difficult job, especially with my little 12ton HF press.
I wouldn't try to force it to move, the little tip on the end could get lost.
I'd say spray it down with some carb cleaner and/or some PB Blaster and let it sit overnight.
Good Luck with it, they can get pretty gunked up.
Take a real good look inside the oil cap on the valve cover.
If there is any foam or rust or anything other than nice shiny rockers, walk away.
Check the oil and radiator fluid real close for any sigh of contamination.
You should have a blast with a deuce out in Destin, that is a beautiful place to live.
Just take your time and enjoy the trip, i think i hit 51mph on my trip home with mine.
Have a great, safe trip and post up your experiences and questions so we can share the fun.
I noticed that after putting "00 Grease" in the winch, it pushed out the remaining 90wt that still in the bottom of the gear boxes...
I'm hoping this is normal.

I'm looking into a receiver mounted crane, with its own...
I was able to get 2.5 quarts (total) of "00 grease" in my winch yesterday, the temp was low 60s so it flowed ok,
I feel like I got about the same amount in each side, filling from the top is tough as it wont bubble without being burped with a finger (or ratchet extension).
I'll try and get more...
it needs to be an "immersion rated" hose, it stays wet on both sides...
regular hose is designed for fuel to only be on the INSIDE, so the outside will degrade in the fuel.
That would be a good idea, I found out it will suck air on hills, when you get down to 12-14 gallons left in the tank... (without being mounted lower).
That Viton hose is a little hard to find and kind of pricey. I bought a 2' section for close to $50 (and ended up using the one that I already...
Are you putting it back in the same location on the rack, where you took off the old pump?
Since it sucks from the sides and not the bottom, it can be lowered deeper in the tank.
I put some Diesel Klean in the tank, thinking i had water in the fuel, after checking a sample from the bottom of the tank, it was good and clean.
I do put a quart of 2 stroke in when I fuel up, I hope that is not hurting anything...
If i can get the wife to stop locking her door (on accident) on her way out....
It's almost sad when the "to do" list is down to the little stuff...
1) Locking door handles
2) 00 grease in the winch (very slow drip)
3) Floor mats of some kind
4) Front axle boots (not bad, but could be changed)...
Yep, door handles are next... can you buy them in singles?
I did put that high dollar "road draft tube" on, that has been sitting in the garage for a year.
