To line my shaft up with the yoke, I put a little screw driver in the yoke hole and spin the shaft (by hand) until I feel the hole on the shaft, then see if there is a sheared off piece that needs to be pushed out..
From what the wifey is telling me... I've NEVER had brake lights before now. Only turn signals.
but then she get's the clutch and brake pedal confused some times??? (when being soldier B)
(she can drive a stick, so that's even more confusing...)
I dont think there are running lights in front... only turn signals with or without headlights.
Also, if the winch pin is not there, mine would spin on the yoke, even with the winch parked (off).
it's not a lubed place, so it's metal on metal, could cause damage if driven with shaft free...
I got my turn signals back, one wire come loose on previous owners blinker mod.
I jumped my air switch wires together and brakes light up, so I now I'll change my switch.
Function checked my heater blower, and took it for a short spin around the neighborhood.
One of my rear hubs still getting...
Thanks Rusty, I dont see the plastic one on NAPA anyway, but my local store does show to have the metal one for $28.
Trying to confirm its 3/8 and not 1/4... NPT.
Are the plastic switches marked for polarity (-/+) ?
Or will it matter on a 2 wire switch..?
Also, there is not much clearance to the air pack mount, mine is horizontal. I seen Rustystud had a post where his switch faces down... did you have any clearance issues with the modern switch?
I've got issues I'm trying to narrow down...
Head and tail lights work, but no brake or turn signals. BUT, the signal indicator on the column stays lit (solid).
I'll start looking for a ground problem, but it not sure if the brake switch (air) would cause the same symptoms? Or a few things at...
I'll have faith in the maintenance that I've done to keep it going, but I dont beat the snot out of it and expect it to be flawless.
I dont have the luxury of having anyone near by to help tow me home or even pull me out of a ditch, so I feel I have to be a little more careful of where i take it.
My worst fear is... going to a big box store, buying a big load of construction material, getting it all loaded, and find my HH clip had fallen off.
Freaks me OUT.
We had to blow the seats in a few Iraqi birds that were still live, where they were dragged out to the end of the airfield.
I'm not sure about the T33, but it may have or had an explosive charge to blow the canopy also.
I have the yellow one, 1:78 or something crazy. It works great, but after putting on the MRAP wheels and adapters, it's useless, the foot is too big to fit in the wheel recess.
