You think maybe this should be moved to the 'ugliest truck' thread? HA-just kidding; they're all beautiful in their own way but boy oh boy, you sure got a project ahead of you!!
Kenny, you really are unbelievable! Just what I was looking for, and in record time too....Thanks a million! Now I gotta do something about that quarter-inch..... FMJ- Thanks for the quick reply, you guys are on fire to-nite! The 105 would look good behind your M109...
Hey guys- I'm picking up a M105 trailer, can someone help me with a few dimensions? Tried the manuals section and can't seem to get logged in.... Need weight, overall length, total width of tire track(outside to outside). This is probably the most critical measurement, as my 2-axle hauling...
tire tools
emmado- How bout a photo of the slide hammer? I remember it well from my time in the motor pool and as I recall it worked fine then too(almost 30 years ago now!) Anyone handy with a welder could whip one up in a couple hours I'd guess, with a few photos as a guide. And using it will...
Well, when I got my truck from GL in 2004 I was eyeing some nice looking deuces on the side of the lot, 15-20 of 'em. The GL guy said those are going to Morocco. Ive heard the same thing in previous posts too. So whats the deal, is this just the standard line of BS that GL uses on us, or are...

One more for tonight...this is one of E Company's 880's in the motor pool. Ft Lewis Wash. about 1978. Just a few random shots from my archives, cuz we all like to see pictures... Thanks for watching! JK
I'm experimenting with scanning and posting some old photos; some are OK, some not so much.....This one was taken in the hills of Yakima Wash.in 1978. We'd gone to recover a downed aircraft.
M819 photo
Here's another shot of the 819 in the motor pool, I must be gettin' the kinks out of the winch cable. Sorry for the lousy quality, the photo's 30 years old. And the first pic was taken at Ken's Truck Town on the way to Yakima WA, probably 1978 or 79. That's my co-driver Gene Beltz...
RE: Re: RE: almost finished working on deuce
Well, that didn't work out the way I planned....thought i was copying this quote. Oh well...-Target shooters are guilty of leaving shot up junk laying around, too.- Reading this thread, I remembered these old pictures. Photos of Ft Lewis firing...
