Yep, that's mine. It had footman loops on it that did not seem to be related to what the forest service was doing to it since there was no wear on the.

Not quite right but cheap none the less. Might make a good stand in for the TT-98 till you get the right thing.
I did a good bit of hunting around at RTTY stuff a few years back trying to get a practical WD-1a system up and running to no particular avail.
In the process however, I did happen across a TT-76 reperforator up at Shade Tree Recycling over in Passiac Missouri. It was in sort of sad shape...
Particularly with these.
First bleed through the filter then crack the line open at the pump, then again up at the injector.
Should kick right off after that.
You'll do well to just go ahead and pull the supertrap off and clean it up right away, that's a fairly routine maintenance thing...
We have a couple of MKTs that we use for East Wind. You can see pictures of them in our photo albums here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/28248345@N08/collections/ just look at any East Wind from East Wind 2 forward and select NATO.
We use ours with the MBU burners. When you don’t have...
We have been using the cheap Duplicolor truck bed liner from O'Rielly Auto Parts on our vehicles at East Wind for a few years now.
We needed an anti-skid paint that was not so prone to wearing off all the time and of course were intrigued with the idea of killing a little noise while we were...
I have 3 of the MEP-531a 120VAC units. Got all three of them in parts from GL for near minimum bid. I have made 2 complete units out of what I had although one is still not making power.
Engine is an L48 Yanmar and is absurdly reliable. Much like the L70 on your 3k (yes I am the guy who...
The previous mud pit had been dozed in just leaving that one the Dodge got hung up in at East Wind. Needed to recon that one first in a big truck to make sure it didn't have a telephone pole sitting in there or something and I don't think anyone was too eager to be the first one in. Besides, I...
Since I’ll not be there till Friday afternoon and then will be running off with Brett first thing Saturday to go pick up another truck over in Nowata Oklahoma (we’ll be right back) I figure I would hit you guys with some quick trail notes so that you all can get out and 4 wheel away.
I will...
Of course, Fireman. Bring em on!
We're bringing easily 2x as many of us as we have trucks anyhow (and we have LOT of trucks)
There's plenty to do down there and the 4 wheeling is more fun when you have someone with you.
For those of you who have not been, DDAP is used for HUGE events and as such has a quite sizable campground. We’ve pretty much got the whole place to ourselves this coming weekend so there is no reason not to cherry pick the nicest spot to hang out at.
Attached here you’ll see the D-Day...
Ok some quick notes for everyone:
175 road takes you directly to the gate to D-Day park. On the way in you’ll pass a CJ-2a and an old car painted up like a staff car. Just past that you’ll see a ward container (expando van body) sitting alongside the roadway. Usually, if I am driving a...
I will be there friday late afternoon/evening. Catching a lift in with Flying Van who should have shannon with him. My M35A2 and M151A1 are both pre-staged down there along with Flying Van's m35a2 since we were all down this last weekend helping to move paintballers for the Oklahoma D-Day...
More grounds is fine. In robotics, we put ground rods all over the darn place just to quiet things down and get rid of kooky signalling issues.
If it was me:
Rely on "Shore Power" to provide the ground when on an RV hookup.
Drive a ground rod at the gen when running off the gen.
Also, speaking more broadly for the rest of the East Wind guys who will be there as well:
Generally ALWAYS need m151 wheels/tires + random M151 parts and typically can use VRC-12 era radio gizmos and mounts.
I may have one of those ladders as well, just need to look at the spare and see if it is an "official" M109 ladder or not.
I have a lot of other stuff kicking around but will be short on cargo space in my cargo truck since it's mostly full of other truck when I do the piggy back trick. Let...
Nothing to it. Deuces are a snap.
Just hit US 60 and you'll have a nice cruise out.
Great thing about the 2 lane highways is nobody is ever in your way when YOU are the slow one. :)
I should be there Friday early evening unless I manage to play hookie from work and get there on Friday morning.
Don't worry about learning the lingo and being part of the crowd too much, were not a particularly cliquish bunch, we all fit into this hobby pretty fast.
