It's been so long since I've had it happen but I think it was the fuel heater that starts leaking on the backside of the plate. I think Front Line might still have NOS filter assemblys.
Sharpe and Herlong both require appointments. Herlong is un-manned, the people who work Sharpe also take care of things in Herlong.
I'll be at Sharpe Tuesday picking up some new wins... 9-11, should be fun getting in.
This was a civilian one piece fiberglass tilt front end that was available back in the 80s along with different top and windshield assembly. I used to see them all over in colrado, lots of construction companies used them and had this front end installed on them.
As for Idaho Motor Pool, Alex is...
DUC888, do you know John Bircheff? He's right there in Dayton and can help you out. If not PM me and I'll give you his # He's got plenty of parts, trucks, engines, etc...
A little? Maybe a LOT Bruce
John, good to see ya here! If anyone knows wreckers John does...how many ya got now? Didn't get to talk much at Tower, you disappeared rather quickly.
Wonder where I've seen that North Tree truck before LOL They sure take care of their stuff, a buddy just bought one of their Dodge pickups and it's in great shape considering what it's been through in life.
I've wondered the same thing as you for years. I figured maybe some sort of awning support. But have been told by others that they were for a floodlight kit. Like you have never seen any reference to them at all in any of the TMs. It would be nice to know. If anybody knows, I bet David Doyle would!
Better be careful with that one. Just ask Sam of Sam's Surplus in Texas. He got the hell sued out of him by uncle and AM General years ago for the repro body kit that he produced!
I have a complete stack if anyone is interested. It's in excellent shape and complete. I paid $150 for it so that's what I want. Shipping might be a killer though.
Jason, we think along the same lines. HMMWVs were being surplused up until about '92...which oddly enough is about the same time the civvy version came out.
Mine was released in '88 or '89 I have to look at the SF97.
Opie, which ladder brackets you need? I may have the heater controls still.
If anyone has one, I need one of the lenses for the 110 lighting. Can't remember if it was blue or clear....will have to look.
I see the mounts at the MV shows quite often, and most people have no idea what they are so they sell them cheap. My GPS unit I got pretty cheap, the guy didn't think it worked.
