Durabak is great stuff. I've got it on two trucks, one a '97 F350. Did it right after we got the truck in '97. Only one scratch in it because I started loading tools in about an hour after i shot it on...work comes first.

Definitely good advice, good sharp bits make it much quicker and easier and an air riveter is the only way to go.

If i remember right civvy one is completely sealed, mil one is vented. Civvy one is plastic, mil one is metal, and big.

Front Line MVs had them at one time.You won't get the right one from the Chevy dealer.

Step 1: Flip the plate over...it's upside down in the pic. The slots go toward the bottom for the seat belt mounting locations. Oops, just read freight trains post he already pointed that out :D

CAlifornia Military Museum in Sac is all I know of. There's also the truck museum in Woodland. Or Tim could bring it by here, I'll take real goood care of it for him 8) Have him get ahold of Ron Crouch with the CA military Museum, if they aren't interested I know Ron can help one way or another.

I need more 151A2s to restore. I love 'em, but seems all I can find anymore is complete junk or already restored. Looks like you've got a pretty nice body on that one. 8)

Any troop seats for the 1008? I can get those at Tower if you can store them, or may have a friend coming down that way to get a few things from Jim.

Brian, a new 1008 just joined my motor pool LOL 8) Seems the only thing missing on it is the rear shackles and the square tubing mounts for them, so if those are available I can use those.

My question....why not get one out of Ft. Carson? Whole lot closerstraight up I25...or there is a surplus guy in Cheyenne that used to have plenty of trucks :?
