Tim is the best GL person I've ever dealt with! Christina at Pass & ID is great too. I'll be there Monday picking up 14 of my trailers. Fortunately they only have to go 20 miles to the south.
Hey 'Floyd' I'll check with my brother in law in Salem. He was a 'mechanic' in the Army for 18 years, quite familiar with the deuce. They're moving him up at his work and his schedule's been goofy but I'll see what he says. He might even be able to store it for ya until August, that way you can...
Nice, I've got the 4 man pump listed on the second page. Glad I got it free and didn't pay that for it  I need a new filter, whew $99 for just the filter. I use it for blasting and painting. Was set up for 3 phase but don't have 3 phase here :? Set up my blasting booth in a 35' shipping...
Pics look nice but they have spots you can stick your head through. I thought about buying them a few years ago until I went and looked at them in person.
<<<<<Look at the sign on name   I don't have a vehicle that doesn't have a trail of soot down the side. Now that I'm in NV I have to smog my diesels...which just amounts to $$$ because as overfueled as my rigs are they pass easily.
My buddy TJ's in Reno has 686-SMOG for his license...
I've had my CCW here in CA for several years now. Not hard at all, but since CA is not a shall issue state, they can pretty much deny you if they don't like the way you dress. Also have FL, UT, NV, WA, OR non-resident. Once I finish my move to my place in NV I'll lose my CA permit because CA...
Just used the serial on the dataplates. They were easy to deal with, was no big deal at all. Of course, a lot could have changed in 10 years. Just avoid the DMV at Mall of the Bluffs, that place was a PITA.
Never installed one, but bought a bunch of them out of Ft. Sam Houston around '97 that had them innstalled already. They seemed to really tweak the corner of the body pretty bad as all of them were wrinkled pretty bad.
A friend and I did a few HMMWVs from pieces & parts back '96-'99. All we had to do was show them receipts from DRMO for scrap and we were good to go. It was just as easy as when I did the HMMWV I have now which was released in '88 and had a SF97.
I did all of my registration/titling at the...
RE: Hummmm
I've been saying this for many years. I've been buying and selling trucks for about 17 years now. I've seen a lot of stuff go wrong with trucks. I bought an M52A2 at Ft. Carson CO. I had inspected it for about an hour, but overlooked the fact that there were only the bottom bolts...
They say the SR71 is retired, but she still flies over my house EVERY day from Beale as it has since I can remember. 11AM KC135 flies over, 1PM SR71 flies over.
RE: shop vans
My 2 shop vans were rewired at one point and now have a 3 wire. Not all of them had the 2 pin connector either, one of my trucks has a 3 pin connector, one a 4 pin connector.
I'd have bought it in a heartbeat. That is the very first deuce I ever rode in, I must have been maybe 8. Wonder how she ended up at the other end of the state.
I still have not figured out how Smartsville got it's name, I've yet to meet anyone 'smart' from there yet LOL
Been dealing with John for many moons, great guy. If you get on his good side prices are great. If he don't like ya, no deal, he doesn't need money that's for sure.
