Just used the serial on the dataplates. They were easy to deal with, was no big deal at all. Of course, a lot could have changed in 10 years. Just avoid the DMV at Mall of the Bluffs, that place was a PITA.

Never installed one, but bought a bunch of them out of Ft. Sam Houston around '97 that had them innstalled already. They seemed to really tweak the corner of the body pretty bad as all of them were wrinkled pretty bad.

RE: shop vans My 2 shop vans were rewired at one point and now have a 3 wire. Not all of them had the 2 pin connector either, one of my trucks has a 3 pin connector, one a 4 pin connector.
