I think it should work fine I just towed my m923a2 with my 71 m813a1 with the tow bar connected and had the glad hands connected emergency and service and the 813 was controlling the 923s brakes just fine and it is a modern air brake system.
Here are some photos. The only way the cover is held on is be the cords and the 2 straps on the front flap.
you can see in the second picture the best, the way it supposed to be. As you can see the front flap folds over the side skirts and then the side skirts fold over the rear flap and hook...
I tried to explain how to do it when you picked up the cover. I wish my truck was at the house when you were there. I guess my instructions were not clear.
the front flap closest to the cab folds around the side skirts and the side skirts in the rear gold over the rear flap. Remember I said it...
The hissing you hear in reverse is normal that means the shuttle valve for the transfer case to engage the front axle is not gummed up. When the front axle is engaged that hiss should not be present in reverse.
Did you bleed the air pack? You should still have manual braking with no air. The...
You could get some big ballon tires and flip the rims when you put them on and you could do some serious work at the sand dunes. But that's a really good price though either way.
Erik's military is the cheapest place I found and they ship very quickly and they are high quality I just ordered a bunch of prestolite wire in many sizes and Packard connectors from them

until I take pictures, I found this for you.
this is on a deuce but it's the same way I have mine hooked up
Oh lol this is exactly what I have it's a vey good heater and super easy to install. There is an extra port coming off the water pump that you can install this to then run the other end to the other 1" hose on top on the engine. I will take pictures tomorrow.
I would get a coolant heater instead of a block heater Becuase it will heat up your coolant which in turn heats the radiator and cylinder head and block with in about 20-45 minutes. Heats it right up to about 160-200 degrees. I don't remember the brand but I will take a picture of it and post it...
Honestly if I had to do it again I would go with the 14.00 xzls instead. Yea the 16.00 look bad to the bone, but they almost gear the truck down to much so you a lot of your bottom end. If you just do slit of cruising go with the 16.00 but if you do more hauling I'd go with the 14.00
It's the tires that make it ride nice. I went from the 11.00r20 ndts to the 16.00 michilen xzl and man what a differnce it rides like a pick up truck now
Well my 813a1 keeps getting stuck in 6 wheel drive
sometimes it will engage and then will not disengage and there is no air being released when I shift in to reverse. I'm looking they the -20 but can not find the sprag or front axle endgame by section can someone please direct me to the right...
