Now I am looking for a step deck or ramped trailer to put dad's scout car on. We have a civilian gooseneck trailer but I would be dragging the rear of the trailer if I pulled it with the 818... Anyone know of a step deck or low trailer with ramps? Maybe a 40' trailer.
You drove and 5 ton and can't decide !!!! What ?? I did not have to sell my M35 but if I had to choose........ There would be an 818 in my yard........
Oh My God......
Nothing prepared me for starting up my 818.... That low growl, the awesome brakes, the beautiful sound that 855 Cummins sings.... Then I pull in the driveway steering with my index finger...... I am afraid the M35 just got demoted..... I will still love her but........I think...
Funny..... I have a broken foot right now so I am limping and my dad had polio as a kid so he always limps......
I have not had one single PM about you and everyone says you are a stand up guy. Thank you. Cam
I will be paying for his service and he actually suggested that I ask for you guys opinion. I don't really know any of you guys yet. Looks like I have a good guy. Thanks, Cam
He has been nice enough to offer to deliver my 818 to me. He suggested I ask about him. Please, if you have positive feedback, post away. If you have any negative feedback, send me a PM. I don't like negative stuff on the forums. Thanks, Cam
This is about his transportation qualifications, not...
I really don't want my 818 driven home. I think everyone is correct about the "combined" thing. It was cheaper for me to just pay for my truck by itself. We tried it and it did not work. I have a SS member that offered to haul it for me so right now I am going with him. Thanks to him. Cam
My truck runs perfect but I do not want to drive a 5 ton 717 miles. The crazy thing is that when we listed my truck by itself, the bidding was already down to $850. We figured if we doubled up that the price would be be close to the same and then we would just spilt the price. May just have my...
I have never bought a truck this far from home or this big. George is trying to help get 2 of us our vehicles. I need my M818 to Westminster, SC and the other guy needs his CUCV to WV. Do any of you guys know anyone that could help. We are trying to get this done for $850 total. If this is in...
I will check the calendar before I can commit to anything. We do a lot of parades and school functions this time of the year. I appreciate you trying to help me find a 5 ton.
Thanks everyone. I have patiently waited for about 8 months or more to find a good truck at a good price. I have talked to the seller multiple times and can't believe just how nice he is. I specifically searched for winch trucks. This thing looks sweet and will be happy sitting with all the...
