My point of reference is when I went to a tractor pull and these guys had OLD John Deer and massy tractors with huge turbos and OMG, the performance was incredible! The way the Military built these vehicles , you would think they have some room to play! If I have to I'll buy another motor to...
I'm just looking for more HP NOT rpm. We have a lot of mountains here in Colorado. I know all about spittn rods, don't want to go there! There must be a way to boost torque! Even the old deisel tractors can produce huge HP with a turbo upgrade. I would thing someone has done this successfully!
I'm looking for information on the proper way to do this, and does it just let the rpm run out or does it allow the engine more power?
The engine is a 1971 Herc LDT 465 Multi-fuel.
Thanks,
I'll trade it for a winch off a deuce! I was going to put it on my deuce but it's just to big... It's in good shape and it's in Bayfield Colorado.

That's a COOL truck!
How does it feel to drive that thing? I have a 109 and I love to drive it! Your 813 must be a blast! I think I want one...:) I got the bug!

Pop-up Camper parts!
I would try craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums !!! Post an add in your area in the wanted ads section. You can target your search area. Good luck!

The first thing I would check is that you have a good ground. If it starts ok then your battery to frame ground is probably ok. Run a new ground wire from your panel set to a good frame ground for testing. Put a voltage meter across the batteries and test the voltage. I...
Great JOB! Great to see the kids involved!
I just picked up a winch off a 5 ton and I'm going to install it on my 109.
I need to convert it to hydraulic, so I have a bit of a project ahead of me...Should be fun!
