I pulled the cover off the ip cutoff. Everything moves freely. I moved the small lever and it moved freely and returned to the original position. I have had a hydraulic head leak for awhile is it possible it finally went out? Could I loosen a line at the injector and try cranking to see if I get...
I have tried twice more to get her to run. Plenty of rpm cause I have full batteries. I had both batts on charge for 24 hrs. I am beginning to think that the cutoff may be the problem as she is not responding to the thinned fuel. Not even a sputter. Is it possible that with the cutoff rod on the...
Thanks again to all. I had left the lamps on the block area under the hood for a couple of hours and had the intake pipe on the turbo very warm to the touch and the IP and secondary filters were warm as well. I drained about 35gal from the tank and put in about 10 gal of gasoline. It was a long...
I am hoping the 3 halogen lights under the hood will heat it up enough... I know it has thawed the snow off the hood to just a small pile. I have a light on the IP the Intake and the secondary filters. If I had one more light I would put it under the tank to warm it up too.. If I could just get...
I have never used it with WMO and did not think it would do the job. Mine was leaking so I had disconnected it awhile back. So if I hook it back up and pressurize the tank would it possibly work? I dont have any ether...
I put gas in the filter bowls when I changed them so that they would be full and less air... I did try pressurized tank and cranking. I am not sure that the cylinder is getting warm enough to light the oil off.... I have no room in the tank to add more fuel... she is full..
I had the deuce down for a month or so and finally got a new T-case installed in it. So after I got it in and drove it around, I went back to normal routine. I filled up with my black fuel in the tank and proceeded to carry on... then I realized I hadnt changed the fuel filters in awhile after...
I kick my tires every couple of days. I have had flats from road debris. I use a exchange program with the local deuce overhaul shop. I exchange my flat wheel assy for good take offs for about $75.
Yeah if you had let her hit you then you would have less damage for sure!!:twisted:
She may not have been in good shape though so thanks for thinking of your fellow (wo)man!
German torque.....Good-n-tight!!...... didnt have a torque wrench so I made sure they were snug. After I changed all the studs to the proper thread direction I was much better! Only had the one you saw in Kennesaw come loose all others are good and that one is too now.
Ok, so I get my day off from work and try and get back out under the truck to pull the t-case out. I finish the drive shaft removal and disconnect the parking brake cable. I rig up 2 4x4's across the cab and hook up the 1 1/2 ton hoist. I drill the 7/16" hole in my angle iron for the hoist. I...
Wow thanks... What would cause the brass colored spacer or collar to get damaged... and not the high syncro gear teeth.. I was thinking the syncro gear would be chewed up from other reports.. I will certainly have fun trying to drop the t-case and I really appreciate you input and ideas on...
I had to work this weekend so I have not gotten back to the truck to do anything else. I would like to know what the brass colored gear/wheel that is in the middle of the High and low syncro gears is called. I will try and remember to get the PDF manual open at work. My adobe reader at the house...
I got the drive shafts off the front of the transfer case and also got the air and speedo cables loose. I will hopefuly get the rear shaft off and start the dismounting sometime tomorrow. I will then get it out and cleaned up before I split the case.
