GL Does it do any good to dispute a claim ??

I was out at Ft Dix today and Iron Planet staff are out there cataloging a whole bunch of trucks. (I would guess a few hundred). My understanding is that vehicles are being gone through and will be auctioned as either operational or with stated defects. Which is a huge improvement over GL's "As...

May need loadout help from Ft Dix on M105 and M101 trailers

I have to schedule loadout for two trailers out of Ft Dix, but just found out this morning I need surgery. The surgery has screwed up my loadout plans. I am hoping that somebody near there can retrieve these and hold them for me until I can get them. Any takers? Looks like loadouts can only be...

Going to live in my deuce in Oklahoma....

I lived in an RV two winters ago. I had a place to park it at first and then just moved parking lot to parking lot daily... rest area here, Walmart there. vacant lot over here. It is doable... But gets old. Now I just work multiple jobs. Short term situation like you are considering parking...

    Painting wheels-but not tires?

I second Grease... I have used it many times when painting wheels. Just apply it to the tire and wash it off afterwards, much easier then using cardboard and tape.

Thought my Deuce was almost ready to go....

:funny: If it ran fine before the IP was added than I would suspect the IP... What happened to the original one? Put it back on.

    Progressive Insurance on a deuce.

With Gieco you need to make sure you are on a commercial policy, their limit for auto is 10000 lbs. Progressive is 12000 lbs... Like previously states you need to be clear about the weight of the vehicle... If you said it is a 2.5 ton truck they may put that in as the weight.... and you would...

    Progressive Insurance on a deuce.

Mine is 15 digits. 88K37-XXXX-XX-XXXX I have to show proof of registration because if my state will register it, they have to offer insurance on it. Because insurance is required under state law...

Deuce Insurance Prices - How much do you pay?

We have been with them for so long that we get a "Platinum" member discount. I have priced insurance through other companies and Nationwide comes the closest to what Progressive charges us for the same coverage. Nationwide is 600.00 a year more... The lizard is almost 1000.00 a year more... I...

    Progressive Insurance on a deuce.

So here is the deal with Progressive. I insured my first deuce with them in 2009 on my personal car policy and in a few months they dropped the deuce. I added it back on a farm policy which was later canceled. I have since been going back and forth with them because I wanted to stay with the...

Deuce Insurance Prices - How much do you pay?

garaging only means the location you keep it. Our 32 ft motor home has "garaged at" on the insurance binder... It is just the address of the location the RV is kept most of the time... It does not mean it has to be in a garage. I questioned it when we first bought the policy several years ago...

    Cross country relay challenge.

I wanted to revive this thread. I have made some changes to the original plan. I have scrapped the idea of transporting them all the way across country and will be picking up the bees in Baxley GA on May 2nd. I am using my deuce to go down and get them and bring them back... I will be headed...

Deuce Insurance Prices - How much do you pay?

I have been fighting with them over this for 4 years. I even have threaten to drop my auto coverage if they don't insure the deuce. I have tried multiple states and ask to speak with managers. Here is the most recent from them on the issue. Thank you for inquiring with us once again regarding...

Deuce Insurance Prices - How much do you pay?

They don't know what the vehicle is. The vin is too short for their computer system so they do an over ride and don't actually match the vin to anything. So when they write the policy if you are not specific about what it is they don't know that they can't extend the coverage... This problem...

    The Wrecker Bees are Back!

The nurse bees will not follow the queen out, they will stay with the brood... if the comb cant be physically removed, a trap out will have to be done. The queen will be placed in the bait hive and all the entrances blocked except 1... that one will have a funnel placed over it so as the bees...

    The Wrecker Bees are Back!

It looks addressable enough to me to remove it by cutting out the combs... It would have to be reached from underneath. If it were me: I would bring a comb of open brood and place it as close to the exposed comb as possible. If the queen smells the foreign brood she will come out to fight the...
