Painted the interior portion and window seal region of the doors Behr 383 Green. Removed old driver side wing vent that I broke several weeks ago and installed new one from the local junk yard; still have to install the lock assembly in the window, but having a heck of a time getting the slip...
Someone on this site installed a small portable unit inside the cabin using an inverter and says it works great! Might be more what you are looking for.

I know this is an old thread, but any chance of getting a pic of the jack set up used to raise and lower the top and possibly the pin points in the corners?
Installed new rear window rubber seals, removed old driver and passenger side window seals to paint those areas prior to installation of new seals, busted drivers side wing window while trying to open it, and modified my original lighting configuration to get my dash illumination and running...
Well, after spending countless hours on troubleshooting, I still never found any reason as to why they work when jumped directly from the hot wire but do not work when the light switch is installed. So to correct the problem, I jumped the hot wire from the Service Switch to a secondary toggle...
Yeah, definitely frustrating. As much as I wanted to, did not get a chance to troubleshoot anymore today. Hopefully have it fixed this weekend, and I'll look into the items you suggested.

UPS delivered the window sash parts today from LMC Truck along with the rest of the window seals. Sanded, primed and painted the inside of the tailgate and rear window seal areas, then installed the rear window. Hope to install the rear window seals by Sunday.
In this pic you can see what is original floor and new floor (new floor is really shiny!). Essentially just squared off the original sections that were left and welded in the new. Also note that I left some original floor between the door and first new section on both sides.
