Pedal goes to floor. Master was dry, so filled. Nothing. Been pumped a lot. Running and not. Fluid that was added is still there. Still nothing.
Any thoughts? Need help.
Thanks,
Cool to see Robyn aboard, but back to the original question. GL at Letterkenny was told to "get this crap out" by DRMO. So they had to move everything. No, they didn't drive it, it was all transported by a contracted local shipper. Meaning they came lifted and yanked. From first hand...
Are we to assume you are looking for the M105 series of trailer? If so, although the older ones "may" to someone be more collectible, do yourself a favor and get the ones with the current landing gear that you can crank up and down. See my recent post for a picture of what I'm talking about...
I have to make this quick. Recently acquired three additional trucks and two trailers. M35A2's (one is a dropside), a M105A2 trailer with cover, and the M105A2 woodworking shop trailer. The M105A2 recovery has been posted already. It's the one where I lost air pressure. Fixed the leak by...
I'm still totally amazed how cheap these trucks are considering what they are and what they can do. Try to replace them with something new, from a functionality standpoint, and only pay 2-5k.
As with anything, the product is worth what someone will pay. It's very hard to answer your...
Was thinking the same thing. I'll let you know once I recover. I have heard there were several ways of raising the gate. Some had a hand hydraulic pump where others had an electic hydraulic pump/jack.
Art,
Thanks for the pics. This is exactly what I needed. Mine is a bit different and the saw is bigger.
I'm recovering three trucks and the woodshop trailer next week, so I'll post pics. It's definitely not in that shape.
I'm not sure as for value. I know the saws are sought after to...
I have to ask again, what about deuce pulling deuce? I mean, if a 7 tn was pulling a 7tn and flipped.....
I guess if FMJ pulled a M109 with a M109, should work. Eh? Just trying to be safe.
Double check PA Motor Vehicle Code before putting someone else in towed vehicle to steer. Make sure it's legal. If it's of concern to you. Otherwise, I've done this, but not with a deuce/5tn setup, and as long as the drivers are in sync, it works ok and is probably an option.
This thing was a nightmare with GL. When previewed, GL rep on-site showed me two other pallets of tools that go with the lot. On the pallets were two additional and identical DeWalt 16" saws. Plus a bunch of other tools. I had a buddy along who was a witness as to what was said. GL site rep...
melvinitis,
try a different rental company. Maybe a local outfit. I have rented trailers and car dollies through local outfits. I hauled an Isuzu trooper (newer one) with a car dolly and it worked good. Except for my choice of tow vehicle. But the car dolly was up to the challenge. I know...
I don't think I'm using search correctly. I know this question must have been asked in teh past. But I didn't see it using search. Sorry for wasting time, BUT, where can I find the black rubber bungee cord found on Deuce cargo covers? I want the same stuff and a spool of it would be great...
So once you get to 5th low, it's ok to shift transfer on the fly to high and hit 4 and 5 high? Clutch in or out?
How about engaging front axle on the fly?
Re: RE: i need your input please on 5 tons
Appears as though in PA you need a Class A CDL to move a trailer or vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs. Though the way the remainder of the code reads, one could assert that it's legal to move a deuce behind a deuce as an "emergency". Towed motor...
I totally agree on the pre-trip check. I do this all the time. But my "new" eyes just didn't catch this. First thing I did when everything was home safe...I checked my other truck for the same situation. Before this one was even done idling and cooling down.
Great advice for new owners of...
Not harsh. Being safety wise is not harsh. Had I not had pressure, I would have stopped. I made sure I had at least 60 lbs. of pressure the whole time. To my knowledge the M35 has an air assist brake system so that it is possible to operate the master cylinder manually. Not to say stopping...
