    Holy Cow Batman.... GL HMMWVS

I'm sorry, If I was Uncle Sam, I'd chip every one. Have you seen the video of the Ford Powerstroke 7.3 Diesel mounted with a possibly Mah Deuce sporting a plumbing company from Texas's logo on the door?

    Alaska to Alabama in Brutus

I've been running wvo blends and straight wvo in Benzs and a 7.3psd for years. My first deuce had the fdc bypassed. With a practically empty tank, I added five gallons of 20% wvo/80%#2 diesel to the tank. You could practically feel it when the blend hit the engine. Idle dropped off so quick it...

    Alaska to Alabama in Brutus

Wow, I can't even get my arms around this trip driving a Buick Roadmaster? Is your fdc disabled? A lot of the big truck stop companies are running 20% bio now. "summer blend".

Air over Hydro Brakes in op (M35A2)

I have hand built stuff to replace mandrel bent pieces from factory that were cracked. Blood bank refrigeration work is a little critical.

Air over Hydro Brakes in op (M35A2)

I have annealed both hard drawn copper and steel tubing for bending. Don't do it unless you have an idea about what you are doing.

Carnac is on the way east-4.16.2015

To Carnac, I don't know where you are staying in Ttown but I would recommend against it. That is unless you have your own security detail:( I used to work on the road and lived in motels all over the Southeast working cell towers.

    Air pack help

First of all, a pic of the parts (one part now equals two) with something to reference a size would be helpful. The reference could be set of mics, tape measure, dime, etc. First try your locally owned Ace or True Value hardware store. They literally survive on having a small stock of a lot of...

    Air Reservoir/Compressor stats M35

@ Oddshot, Find a friend into heavy commercial refrigeration that has access to 150# r22 or r404 cylinders. The cylinders are about the same size externally but the walls are only about 3/16" thick and are rated for 500psi. $50 deposit.

    Air Reservoir/Compressor stats M35

@ Oddshot, perfect size and shape, its only about 120-150cubic feet rated for 1500psi per clouded memory? IMO, drilling and tapping for a condensate drain might be a little difficult due to the thickness of the walls. Vertically mounted valve down might make the installation look a little...

    Air Reservoir/Compressor stats M35

I figure I could get a refrigeration liquid receiver and adapt it for this use. The newer ones are rated for 500psi. I only want it for short bursts like when these "Fast and Furious" cars decide to turn left in front of or almost cut off my 13,500lb vehicle:)

    Air Reservoir/Compressor stats M35

I work in the projects with a railway beside them. I want a set of train air horns mounted under my truck. I have no idea of the cfm needed at what pressure is needed just for short bursts. Last year, a Bubba in a Cummins sitting at a red light beside me shook my car with an air horn. Grunt...

Who makes the best hub boot?

To add, I need one original to be duplicated. Mine are still there and are from the '87 rebuild and dry.

Who makes the best hub boot?

Idea @M1028, here's a pic of my zippered boots and my debris guard is mounted 90 degrees from your mounting. Can anyone get me one of these military rubber coated canvas like zippered boots NOS? All I need is one. My truck is an '87 rebuild with 7500 miles and are still intact. Everything else...

John, this is Dave. I have been inside this truck. It's a real piece of engineering and one could eat off the breather.

Help me to help a veteran

Tell your Bro welcome home. Where there's a will, there's a way. I know a para that rides a Sportster here. He designed and built a sidecar that his wheelchair easily rides on and secures to.

    Deuce load?

An old friend of mine (Army Reserve LTC) checked out my deuce and joked "that thing will carry a lot more than it's rated for". He is a former enlisted Marine Vietnam vet. He won't say how much. No disclaimer needed as mine will only carry firewood and maybe a few old vets in a parade as far...

    Clutch question--

I have been on Fleabay looking for a replacement clutch set for my deuce. There are basically three types of clutch-plates according to the pics. One looks like a standard oem clutch for a car. Another is round with six what looks like Kevlar? tabs on it. Another one is not round and has the...

    R & R work (remove and repair)

Ah, the single days------My wife would never understand. Note to anyone. Etching a Harley tank before creaming it will remove the finish off a cast iron tub. My "future wife" fifteen years ago asked me why the perfect tub had a dollar sized rusty spot in the middle.
