Looks like the maiden voyage this upcoming weekend here in the north east. Spent a good part of the day going over the truck. If we get what they are saying 12"-24" she'll be out for 24+ hrs.
I'll post up the good, the bad, and the ugly.
I've plowed with everything from an F-350 to a '79 CJ7 304 with quadra trac, the Jeep is still my favorite. I'll be driving the CUCV doing small strip malls 50-150 parking spaces and I'm pretty easy on equipment, the other 2 trucks are F-250's and I've got good guys driving them.
I'll take a...
I appreciate it, the last time i put a new plow on a truck it only snowed once after that for the season, so I can bet our winter was over the day the check cleared. It's 55 today.:-)
My "4 wheeling " days are about 20yrs in the past, an occasional corn (frozen)field during goose season is about all the off-road my trucks see anymore. pavement pounder for sure.
I surely won't save enough on the brakes to make the 1st plow payment, the 1st payment was the last, it's paid for.;)
Winter usually isn't over here in the North East until 1st week of April, we still have the potential for some good snow Feb and March. Its hit or miss. We have had some of our biggest storms in March. It's the whole N'orEaster thing.
The Ultra mount comes off with 2 pins and at the end of the...
I finally got around to installing a new Western Pro 7.5 Ultra mount on the old girl. I was even able to keep the brush guard on . 3-400 lbs of ballast in the back seems to be about right for traction. It will be nice to plow a few of the smaller lots with the CUCV instead of the crew cab F-250...
Just placed order with 4 wheelonline.com for the 76-08 wrangler seat cover in O.D.

G.E.A.R. Seat Covers
Might have to order another one.
No, U-21's are no longer in the inventory, they were non pressurized A90 KingAirs.
The C-12 (BE-200 KingAir) is quite a bit larger, pressurized, A/C ect. I transitioned from the rotor side to fixed wing back in '96. Could have used King Air 350's instead of the 200's but that is another story...
What ever the market will bear is the going price.
In the mid to late 80's .gov paid over 13,600.00 for these. In 2009 dollars I figure that is close to $20,000 a copy. To find one in this condition, to me was well worth the price.
here is some documents that were taped to the 1st unit in a...
Don't be a hater. If you look hard enough you can find an occasional jewel.
Look at the pictures, they don't lie............
I'll post the paper work when I get home.
I recently had the honor of winning 2 MEP-003A's with 2.3 & 2.1 hrs on them.
I know what you are thinking, just a repainted piece with a new hobbs, that's what I thought, so I didn't bid on the first 10 that went up on GL back in Nov.
I went to pick up another genset I had won and asked the...
Anyone have any luck finding the oil filter numbers or fuel filter numbers?
Just picked up a genset and looking to change the fluids, got lucky new battery and is in real nice shape. 29 hrs on hobbs, rivets are shinny, no overspray on any lines or fittings, looks like it was just pulled out of...
I picked up another mep-003, no filters at all, I am good with all the p/n's for the filters and I know the strainer is not available.
My question is, what micron water seperator/strainer should I get. 10, 20, 30 micron? I was looking at this one.

I was hoping maybe someone around here might have 1 or both on a parts machine they might like to sell.
I have bought some parts from delk's in the past, I'll give them a ring on Monday.
Thanks,
Looking for Hertz and percent load gauges for MEP-003.
Generator fires right up, volt meter works fine, I can see condensation and rust of the other 2 guages.
Thanks.
