i checked the hole and its perfect. in a pinch i used the pin from the pintle hitch and i sheared through that too but thats when the front end was buried. its def not hanging up al least that i can tell because it puts no load on the engine when im re-spooling or winching out. i just kind of...
i seem to go through shear pins like water, im obviously overestimating the abilities of my winch and im just getting frustrated.
first pin was absolutely my fault, i pulled a 40 foot pine down and then tried to pull it out of the ground once on its side. rather than lining up on the side to...
could be they have always been a little out of round and the cold weather makes the tire more ridged so you feel it more. once you get moving the tire warms up a bit and feel it less so. also it could be that your developing flat spots or uneven wear.
not that im aware of, seems most of the bobbed crowd is running the 395's. as long as the truck is set up with the proper rear height you should be fine.

wiper blades...

PAINTS
i wasn't aware of Oshkosh rebuilding the 800 series trucks but im no expert either. as for value, there are a number of factors, demand for these trucks isnt very high (collectors and some businesses) compared to how plentiful they are. also consider that rebuilt or not these are 30-40yo trucks...
it will be a few months before you will be seeing up close. nice win, almost bid on that one myself, kinda far drive for me but the prices up here are going up quick. congrads. buy a gauge set and start getting fluids and spares ready.
could be filling up in the air pack. mine came off the gl lot with an empty MC and no visible leaks. at some point you'll either get the rock hard petal or have dot5 flowing out the vent tube on the engine
trust me, i have no intention on breaking the rim down. my complaint simply lies in the fact that its $40 just to remove it from the truck. my air tools are at my dads, im able to do things the old fashion way lol, he is not. i figure im better investing that $40 into a socket than a one time...
