I was wondering the same...could you reverse the mounting of the bed and the shelter and use the extending tongue as a variable length type front porch. I personally would like that idea. If you need to move the trailer could be compact and if more space needed easily grow a few feet. As for...
Those photos have helped in the past...feel like alittle kid sometimes leaving the red rider ads out...I forgot are you going to run a bench seat or buckets in the truck?:funny:
Welcome, I really appreciate you putting up those photos.
Some discussion has been put forward as to the reg. on art on vehicles. Do you care to share? Seems those Vs were pretty dolled up. I find its good to study history but always more rewarding to get first hand knowledge. :-)
From those shots you really get the half size bobber feel. Really wish there was a better configuration for the headlights. That is a jeep only a father would love.

Looking good gavan. Looks like your ready for some primer. What shape is your hard top in?
Looks like a candidate for a reinvention when I come across a large steel tire valve off a loader.
Curious could someone post up a pic of the inside of the blow gun. Curious about the valve side and how it worked. Guessing it is identical to the Schrader valves we are all familiar with.
Could be humidity based. Will cloud some finishes, but I assume that the paint is a flat so would doubt too much clouding going on.
Cloudy paint?

If you need to secure the foam down nice and hard I would use some Copper wire that is pretty thin and twist it down. You can cut it loose latter and it won't rust.
Looking good can't wait to see how it turns out.
For on board air (non-deuce obviously) I use a CO2 tank. 22 bucks a fill up and for my needs last pretty long time. Its a 20 lb cylinder.
Has anyone thought about using a High-pressure system as a back up? Some issues are the air charge is cold at high flow and lets not forget dangerous...
keep from hanging up and puncturing the tank i.e. smallish stick.
I carry:
5 gal gass
fluids
smallish tool box fits in a 40mm can about the size of a fat 50 with wrenches screw drives and assorted tools
at least one chain
maybe a hand winch or highlift
block of wood
water
something that will...

I have seen the smaller cargo version its with a cab over type truck that is in the modern inventory. They are really cool. I think using a knuckle boom and a set of roll-off style skids would make a really useful all around cargo...
I've always wondered about the detergent blend foaming alittle in that block. Alot of splashing going on in the case. Any thoughts?
As for OD being BS, that person does not understand basic gearing. I'll take a 10 hp engine to 80 mph with a >12 gear box. Now it may be more practicle to drop...
Sweet. Thanks for the citation I pulled it somewhere and just didn't remember where. What ever rendering software he uses is nice. Yeah Gavan since yours is up in the air that pics wouldn't work. There is an 11 gall scratch and dent on that site I posted. Slightly discounted. I'm still...
WOW!!!!!
Lots of sources for rubber bump stops come to mind but weight would crush most I can think of. Dito on using the limiting straps or chain.

Here is a thought, the above tank is smaller and would be about right. At 9MPG range of about 90 mi. I would still put a couple jerry cans mounted on the bed but I think this would be a pretty cool look to it. Some vehicles just don't...
