The first thing I'd check is to see if the oil pressure gauge is functioning. Not sure if they are mechanical or electrical. Electrical gauges have a sender and I've seen many of them go bad. Hate to change an engine for a bad sender or gauge.

I think Infinity (car brand) has model called the M35. The computer is probably keying on that. Good luck trying to straighten this mess out. Might require a visit to the local assessor's office. Be sure you tell them the manufacturer, AMGeneral.

I figured that when you said you built it 10 years ago. IIRC, the Real Model stuff is only a few years old. I'm ok with some scratch building, but molding and casting are way beyond. The level of detail is amazing, again, great job!
Something not right with this photo. First, it's a Coast Guard truck as marked on the door. Next, if you look at the inside of the box armor (left rear inside of truck bed) you see it doesn't go to the floor of the truck and appears to be wavy. There is also no rear armor. MR NICE was a long...
When it comes to brakes, I prefer the replacement route. Wheel cylinders for these seem cheap enough and I can spend the time doing something that pays better. Time value of my labor, etc.
