Your best bet on a m416 is going to be GSA. Years ago use to pull a 3500 lb boat and trailer with a s10, only had a 4cyl. It didn't like the hills but it got the job done.
Two screws in the arm rest. The door panel is held on by plastic keepers, no big deal if you break the keepers, any parts store has them 4-6 per package 4.99. Pull the panel from the bottom, once the keepers are free slide the panel upward. Forgot to add there is a u shape clip on the window...
On the 1009 there is a large hole 3/4" maybe on the the bottom of the bumper, one on each side. Used some stainlees to make a bracket, bolted to the bottom bumper left side. No drilling required.
I run AV plates on my m35, weight plates an "H" good for 26k use to be in the ballpark of 400, not sure what they go for now days, never looked into farm plates. Using IL VET plates on the cucv's good for 8k.
If the bat's check out good, next thing to do is download the TM's from above in the FAQ's, Use the trouble shooting from the TM. That way your arn't throwing money at it blindly. Could be any number of things, ie starter, relay, fuseable link......But you need a mulitmeter so that you can...
I just always use the load tester that I have at the house, maybe a 40 dollar one. Take your bat's to just about any parts store and they can test them for free.
Put a load tester on the bat's. If you had just charged them they will read 13v or better, but are they holding the charge? Its tough to get a cucv started with questional bat's.
I'd add to the list of a pocket mask. Usefull for cpr if there is a injury to the face, you can still get a air tight seal, also has the hook up for O2.
The locks should be keyed the same unless they have been changed out. I would lube the locks real good. The locks on my 1009 some times stick and you have to play with them. Other wise it would be cheaper just to get new locks at the parts store and swap them out.
I ran into the same thing on my m101, put some 3in1 oil between the metal and the rubber then it will go right in. Also have you swaped out the 24v bulbs for 12v? Safety is another can of worms using a 1009 to pull a 105.
