Got the driver side rear floor pan in and filled in between the door pillars.

Removed the rear seat mount/battery box.

Put the bed back on to get out of the snow.

Took 17" out of the frame to get wheel base to match up with the stock bed.

Got my new rear floor pans from Midwest Military.

Got the cabs joined up now just need to weld in supports and fill all of the gaps.

Does the starter have the front mount?

Ask G.L for more time if they say no have local towing company tow it off base and store till you can get it.

Made some progress today got to cut and stretched the frame. I'm still not sure what the total wheel base is going to be yet. I made the frame extensions a lot longer than I'm going to need so I can shorten them once the crew cab is built. For right now the rear rails are just bolted together...

Scored some new seats for the project!

I'm calling it a M37a4. It going to be a 61 M37B1 made into a four door, full size bed, with a 3.9 Cummins 4bt, 5spd, Dana 60 axles, four wheel disc brakes, hmmwv 24 bolt wheels w/37" Goodyears. All late model military stuff led lighting, seats, hmmwv gun turret, ect.

Most gm 14 bolts came with 3.73, 4.10 or 4.56 gears. 4.10 seems to be the most common that i've seen. I have never seen 3.89 in a 14 bolt. Nice looking truck though.
