Well since the weather finally is beginning to cooperate figured today was a good day to paint. Its not perfect but its ok for now. Now its time to put some hours on it.
Progress report. Dug into it pretty good the last couple of weeks. First thing I did was order a full set of manuals then after some reading began work. Got the alignment correct drained and refilled all fluids, cleaned and relined the fuel tank, did a full tune up and fixed a couple good sized...
Its already converted and the battery was up on the deck. I want to hide it underneath so I can maximize the deck space. I was looking at group 26 size batteries which aren't to large or possibly a lawn tractor type battery. I did see the mount at Mechanical Mules of America and it looks like...
Was trying to think of the best way to mount a battery under the bed of the mule. I wanted to try to avoid drilling thru the bed. I've seen some with the mounting off the chassis tube. Any thoughts and better yet any pics would be great.
It was great to get out and see some familiar faces and meet a couple new ones. JATONKA as always was a wealth of information answering mine and everyone elses questions with ease. Look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
Just wondering if a A5 bed will go on an A4. The bed has some typical pitting on the magnesium bed and I was thinking of doing a switch to the aluminum bed. I have not seen a A5 in person to see if all the hatch placement is in the same place or not. Has anyone done a swap like this before?
