GOT IT!. Picked her up today and spent several hours putting everything together. Ended up welding up longer bars for the shackles, Beating the mounts outward about .25" with a mallet easy day. Hooked up the blackout lights, broke one in the process. (Glad I had a spare in reserve) Touched...
another updated pic, got the inside welded up, still waiting on the shackle mount holes. I went out yesterday and snagged up a couple extra bars that hold the shackles so I can extend to clear the new bumper.
Are you referring to the transmission vacuum modulator? I had hard and late shifts also. Replace all vac lines and than replace the trans vac modulator its only about 12 bucks at napa. Just ask for the part for a k5 blazer proper year I think they are all the same. very easy to replace just...
if memory serves me correctly rotate the body not the slip on portion with the wiper sprayer tab on it. I cant remember if there was a click, but push in and wiggle back and forth and it will come out. just had mine out a few days ago, will check for you tonight exactly and report back
its slightly tricky but not hard. Apply a little inward pressure and then try rotating it. It just has a small tap thats holding it in. Its all plastic so dont get to crazy with it just good firm pressure.

I asked him about plans, he said he really doesn't work off of plans when he making them. But when I get it I can take measurements and report back. He has a k5 or some 80's truck he fabs off of. More pics of progress.
something similar out of plate, but want it to be kind of a step. Same deal with black out lights and rear shackle mounts, etc. I want to retain the pintle mount also and accommodate a plate and a light for it. Will consider a swing away jerry can holder I have by Gypsy rack depending upon...
CHRISKnight,
I hear you that wimply bumper our trucks came on will fold up like a pretzel. I was taking mine off to have one fabbed and I jacked it all up just removing it, very thin steel.
very sorry to hear that kind of news. It seems life throws real surprises sometimes, again very sorry and May God bless, keep and bring restoration to your family.
Well a few things this weekend. Installed a stereo and two speakers in the factory location in dash. While the dash was off painted it, set up another 12volt plug in the glove box, set up the cb mount, cleaned up wiring harness under the dash, re worked my rear bus bar, added a small west...
