QUICK STORY...
Back in college (a very long time ago...) I bought an old rusty VW Bus (Van) for a couple hundred $$.

I took my '52 GMC XM211 to a recent local classic car gathering (i.e. "show") here in SE Georgia.
There was a wide variety of cars there, everything from better-than-new trailer-queens to rusty rat-rods. So I didn't really worry about not fitting in!

Always good idea to check Deuce brake systems OFTEN for leaks. Especially since it is a single circuit system.
I always look underneath my M211 at the inside of every tire/wheel before and after each drive.
Call me paranoid, but I just want to always know that I will be able to...
Just get a black Trans Am to run ahead of you as Blocker to distract all the "bears" at the weigh stations.
Then you can sail right through without any thought of stopping! (Unless, of course, you come across a "Frog" in a wedding dress at the side of the road...) :driver:

What year is this early Deuce?
Is it an M35? or a GMC M211 or M135? or is it one of the earlier 6x6 trucks?

On my XM211 Deuce I need to start the 90-degree turn into my driveway about 10 feet sooner than I do in my "normal" car.
After almost taking out the fence on two occasions I now do this turn-in at SIGNIFICANTLY slower speeds than one would consider normal.
