    Bad fuel in tanks

I'd say don't drive it on crud! If at alll possible drain the crud out as soon as you can & put some fresh fuel in there. You might get away with limping it off the base with what is in there, but I wouldn't attempt to drive it all the way to ATL on crud or you will likely end up on the side...

any body looking for a m215 dump?

CT is closer to MI than GA is! Just think, you could have the beginnings of a FLEET of M215s & buy spare parts in bulk!! Besides, if it is shipped on a flatbed you are probably only gonna pay $1 to $2 per mile...... (OK, I confess. I'm actually HOPING you'll buy it, fix it up, decide you...

    Camshaft stopped!!!

MIGHT BE WORTH NOTING what series of motor (manuf, serial #, build date, etc.), and what type of damper, and what type of cam is involved in these failures!?! I'm not sure if the parts involved have any identifying numbers in them (or distinctive features/markings), but it WOULD be good to...

    Found in the woods

Is this thing STILL out there? I would have thought that SOMEONE would have snagged it by now!! (Maybe I need to drag MY trailer across the country & go get it!! Just so that I could say "I told you so!") -Bear-

    Camshaft stopped!!!

:ditto: I agree! But I can sympathize with one's wanting to determine if damage has occurred BEFORE pulling the head off or the engine out. (I rebuilt a "bad" transmission once, only to discover later that all it needed was a new pilot bushing...) aua "DOH!" -Bear-

    Camshaft stopped!!!

IF the valves are bent enuf that they aren't closing all the way then you'll get low compression. BUT since your cam isn't turning you are likely to get low compression in at least half of the cylinders, even ones w/o bent valves. & with the air pressure test suggested above it is worth noting...

    Camshaft stopped!!!

Reminds me of an AMC Matador that I had back in college... (yeah, I know, "A Matador?!?" It was a $200.00 car to get me around for a couple of college years... Besides, it was good enough for Reed & Malloy!! (the Adam-12 guys...)) This was an AMC V-8 with over 250K miles on it and it simply...

any body looking for a m215 dump?

Looks pretty nice! Everything works? (engine, high & low range of transmission, xfercase, brakes, dump, all electrical, all guages) Any Leaks? How are the tires? WI title denied. Options?

Yes, most states will tell you that you need to register vehicles in the state where they are garaged. BUT in my case I'm primarily interested in 1st getting a title. Once I have a title I can reg it anywhere & the MI title is still valid. (i.e. I can get a MI title & MI reg & MI plates 1st...

Looking for M35 Repair Shop near Huntsville, AL - Brakes

Not 100% sure. I haven't been able to do a 1st hand inspection yet. I'm relying on the seller's diagnosis at this point. (No reason for me to doubt him.) Right now I'm simply planning for the worst, & hoping for the best! I might take a few extra parts (wheel cylinder or rebuild kit, axle...

    WI title denied. Options?

I'd say title it in a different state OR use a title service. GA doesn't issue titles for anything 1963 or older. SO I am forced to use my MI address to title any of my cars that fall into this category. Fortunately MI is very easy to deal with when getting titles for older cars! Do you have...

Looking for M35 Repair Shop near Huntsville, AL - Brakes

Hey guys I need your help... I'm picking up an M35A2 near Huntsville, AL (approx 15miles NE of town) in about 9 days. BUT, it has what appears to be a leaky wheel cylinder on the pass-side middle wheel. While I could just nurse it home by checking the brake fluid level frequently, I'd prefer...
