I have a pair of light housings for sale, $45 for both (plus shipping). I bought a bunch a while ago and used them on my trailers and trucks when I knew that the standard lights would get damaged. These housings are very strong and can protect your lights. They measure 17" long, 3.75" high...
I picked up an M101 with surge brakes and wanted to tow it with my Crown Vic station wagon. I really wanted an M416 but the price for the M101 was too good to pass up. I'm making yet another cross country trip from NJ to NV in a couple months. A couple questions:
1. Any suggestions on towing...
Try buying an M105 on the west coast. They go fro $400-$1200. For some reason, trailers fetch a lot more out here. I found on the east coast, you can't give away M105's.
Hey Bjorn...I recognize that laundry trailer!
This is a shot of Bjorn unloading a couple trailers off of my trailer with the laundry trailer in the background. Cool stuff!
The benefits of towing a military trailer:
1. They can usually carry more than what they are rated for.
2. No need to change the wires, plugs, or bulbs.
3. Most lunettes will be the same height as the deuce pintle.
4. They are really cool.
All I own are military trailers and it really makes...
I've seen very few trailers that would be small enough for a skid steer. I think the closest thing you will find is an M1061 5 ton trailer. They are 14' long, dual axle, air brakes. If you can, find one that has the dropped deck and wheel wells. The deck height is about 12" lower than the...
It's easy to replace the IP pump, just takes a little time and patience. See if you can get the correct wrench to remove the fuel lines. It will make life a lot easier. If I recall, it is a 16mm hex head. I removed an IP from an M1009 in about an hour and a half. Putting it back on was...
I owned an expansible van body for about a year. I used it for storage. It was a great place to keep things dry. I wound up giving it to another guy to use as storage. He kept it on the ground like I did so he had no use for the stabilizer legs. If anyone is in need of the legs and pads...
Here's a win-win-win situation:
1. Dig a moat the entire length of the Mexican border.
2. Fill in the Everglades with the removed dirt.
3. Move the displaced alligators from the Everglades into the new moat.
EVERYBODY WINS!
That's a great spot for it but if you ever load your trailer up like I do, then it's very difficult to lift the tongue and put it on your hitch. BTW...very nice looking trailer!
I've got a new in the box Swingfire for sale. Comes with the turbo heater too. $200
Chris, I know you can get the manual for the heater online. I would have to do some research to find the web site.
