Oil pressure sounds ok, as Badgmc has said. Pinging (or knock) is usually from too hot combustion. Lead as a fuel additive was used to cool combustion temps, so that would be one way, another is to use higher octane gas. It might be worth a try...
Usually a popular event, a chance to get some "stick time" in some rare aircraft. I used to volunteer at NEAM and did many of these. Looks like the weather will be rotten, so this is a good way to spend a rainy, raw Sunday.

Also look for traces of a white-ish powdery residue, at the heads, water pump, hoses, etc. That is the sign of evaporated AF. You should probably do a pressure test, just going by the cap isn't going to tell you if you have a small pressure drop.

Got a bad shock on the right, front? I'd be looking at the alignment before putting new rubber on, they may not get great tire wear, but I'd want to max it out.
FWIW, Collings Foundation will be having their annual WW2 re-enactment Columbus weekend (Sat/Sun). Hopefully the weather will co-operate, it's always a good show. There is a rumor running around that there might be a third tank this year.

What Lance said, be sure the brake shoes are backed off. After time, the shoes wear into the drum and create a ridge at the back of the drum. Back the shoes off big time and once they clear the ridge the drums should come right off.

Is it a voltage gauge or an ammeter? If it's a voltage gauge, just check the system voltage when running with an external volt meter.
In the civvie 12v versions, when you turn the ignition on (without starting) all the warning lights come on as a check feature. Not sure the mil versions are...
