    M37 work starts

That was the way it came from the rebuild shop. We moved the lifting eye back where it belongs since the pictures were taken, and the oil filter bracket is still on the oil filter in the box.

Thanks Mike. It's been a ton of work, but it's really coming together nice! We just got the engine back and the rush starts tomorrow!

    ABERDEEN 2012 ( Only 192 days away)

I'm still looking at a pile of 9.00 x 20 NDCC real cheap, if anybody's interested. I don't want to drag them there jet to drag them home. I have four with great tread. Two with less tread…. UPDATE: The tires are spoken for as of now. Thanks for the interest from everyone!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I'm in the process of replacing the master cylinder, and I threw on a new starter relay to match my shiny new starter. It's been a slow go with all of the work on the M37...

    M37 work starts

I've been remiss in my updates. We've gotten loads accomplished, but not much that makes for good pictures. The engine is due back tomorrow, and we're going to get on the reinstall right away. My father rebuilt the transfer case and transmission, but I don't have any pics. I'll have to ask if he...

    M37 work starts

We sent it out to JB's Auto Machine in Baltimore. They take the block and heads and do a total rebuild. We've gotten a few engines done there. Home

    M37 work starts

My father got all the wiring harnesses for the truck from Midwest Military. We thought about doing it ourselves, but several of the wires have rotted away to where we can't tell what goes where. We figured it would be a better process to get the harness then follow the manual.

    M37 work starts

As the work continues…. We got the rear axle done. It wasn't as involved as the front, so there aren't many pictures. We've also gotten the engine and tranny pulled and the engine sent for rebuild. This past weekend we got all new brake lines installed, and started on the wiring. That's going to...

    ABERDEEN 2012 ( Only 192 days away)

I will be there! Sorry it took so long to post pictures, but here are the tires I have. There are 6 total. 4 with good tread, 2 with so-so tread. There were the best I could do for pictures because they're blocked in by half an M37 in parts. If I can get interest, I'll drag them along. I really...

    ABERDEEN 2012 ( Only 192 days away)

I'll have to get some measurements to be sure, but 4 of them are probably 80% or so.

    ABERDEEN 2012 ( Only 192 days away)

I will be there! I don't know if I'll have anything to sell, unless anyone is interested in some Deuce wheels with 9x20 NDTs, dirt cheap. I don't want to load them up unless someone wants them… I'm lazy that way.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I removed the winter front and contemplated putting the cargo cover back on. Maybe I'll fix the corner seam and actually put it on this week. [thumbzup]
