Unfortunately I'm going to miss this one too. I'll have the Deuce in Western Maryland for Apple's Motorcycle Rally. I'm going to try to make the next one though! {fingers crossed}
Sweet thanks!
Nonotagain: Unfortunately I will be in the mountains that weekend so I won't make it. I'm in Essex and would be glad to meet you somewhere in order to get a pair, if that is possible. I'm taking the trailer west and want to make sure it's ready to roll by next Wednesday.
BTW, if...
I have an M105 trailer and one of the tail light assemblies needs to be replaced. Can Deuce tail light assemblies be used as a replacement? I have a better source for those than trailer lights....
Thanks!
When I changed out all of my tires, I had an issue with the very last lug on the last inner tire. After using two impact guns; a torch; a lug wrench and 10 foot bar; a sledge hammer and lots of cussing, I ground through the cap nut with a grinder. It was much easier after that. A new stud and...
It's been over the last few weeks, but here goes. I pulled both front wheels and replaced all seals, boots, brakes, wheel cylinders, etc. Removed and rebuilt the master cylinder. Installed the remote brake reservoir upgrade. Bought an M105 and installed the top. (Thanks Dudley!) Replaced the...
Indeed, if it's not broke, don't fix it. Mine was broke... I fixed it.
If you have axle fluid leaking from your boots, you likely have it in places it shouldn't be.
I just finished both sides. It's quite a task, but the stepXstep guide is a great help. Make sure you take plenty of time getting things clean, and have plenty of clean up materials to do it! I must have pulled five pounds of nasty, old grease out of there.
It seems that plans have changed and I won't be able to make it. I'll be out at the butt crack of dawn under the truck. Gotta :grd:
I've GOT to make it next month! It's been far too long!
I recently had a left side inner boot start leaking. Since I had not had the front drums off since I bought it, I decided to disassemble/clean/repair/replace any parts/fluids/seals that needed any of the above. It came down to:
New seals inner and outer
New one piece rubber boots
New axle...
I saw a large convoy of the same make up on Sunday morning heading SW from the Baltimore area. There were some sweet Oshkosh units in there! [thumbzup]
Is it the exhaust pipe coming off the turbo? I just took mine off in the process of removing the front fender, and found that it was in miserable shape. I was going to weld it back into shape, but then Saturn had them in stock. Of course now I'm reminded that I should post here first to see if...
Chances are it's DOT 5. Mine is and it's bright yellow. Here's a page describing how to test it...

If you take the air switch from behind the dash, you still need to buy the brass t fitting and compression fittings to put it together. I'm not sure if the line connected to the dash switch has air pressure all the time or only when the front axle is engaged. The easiest way to find out is to...
If you have the time and place to do the work, there's easily the money's worth of parts there. There may be enough to get a running truck out of it. In the long run you may end up spending more than if you bought one already done.
It was my first year and I had a great time! Thanks to Dudley and Ian who hooked me up with some needed items, and were great guys as always! I picked up quite a few things over all and had a magnificent experience. It was nice to have a chance to meet some of the guys face to face. A finer...
