There was a VERY NICE fully restored M211 on eBay a few weeks back for just $5K -$6K (I don't remember exactly...)
Yes, it might cost you $25K to completely restore a large MV, but that doesn't mean it is now WORTH $25K!!

Sounds like the GovLiq BIG"Joe" needs to figure out a better way to manage these auctions so that bidders can bid with confidence that they will get the item depicted!

I pulled mine out w a Slide Hammer. (Just a CHEAP body work slide hammer from Harbor Fright.)
I "jerry-rigged" a hooked bolt so that it was able to get a firm grip on the back edge of the bearing, then a couple of firm tugs on the sliding weight and out it came!

...and how much sleep you are willing to skip...
...and if you have a solid supply of Red Bull, Top Ramen, Hot Pockets, and (of course) BEER!
