Thanks.... I was not trying to be specific to a model.... rather I wanted info on how people use their 2 1/2 ton tractors. Thanks for the heads up on the differences. I will research how to do it. What about uses: how do the pull with a 5th wheel?

All right guys... I am thinking about converting a Deuce to a M275 tractor. Guys that have done it and guys that have real M275's let me know what you think about the trucks and how you use them. The reason I'm thinking about it is twofold. One: license and fees are a lot less than...
I thought about bidding until..... I checked on plates and insurance. WOW, this thing would cost a boat load to insure and license!!! I'll sit to my "Little trucks"!
I just bought one from O'Reilly's. It is on wheels and will do 6-12-24 slow or jump charges. Hold on to your hat when the bill gets there. Works great, but pretty costly. As far as price goes.... it is a lot!
Leave poor Clinto alone. Accept him for who he is and not who you want him to be. If he likes guys in uniform, that is OK. You don't have to like big hairy sweaty men. Let the guy be happy.
Is this thing working now? All I get is London in the background and nothing else. No response or anything. This guy "Dan Martin" needs to get a life. He has been in there for days.... at lease according to my computer.
OK.... So one more question: What do you guys think about pulling this thing locally with a M275 tractor? I do not do any long distance stuff (Always less than 100 miles from home) and I am never in a hurry. It is also pretty flat here in Southern Illinois. My thoughts are this: M275 weighs...
