Redstone to Southern Illinois trailer haul

I just won a m348a2 trailer at Redstone AL and need it transported to 62864. The trip is 375 miles according to google maps. I will be sending in the EUC on Monday. When it clears I will need a tractor to move it to Mt. Vernon, IL. Let me know if you all know anyone or are interested in moving...

is it safe to pull a M348A2 with a deuce?

I wish I had found this thread earlier. I just won the trailer and am now trying to find a way to get it home. The bobbed deuce will not be making the trip. Any ideas would be helpful. I plan on getting a tractor later, but for now I just need to get the thing home and park it. I will be using...

Here are the rules for alternative fuels.

I was doing some research today and ran across this web page at the department of energy. It has a link to each state and answers some general questions about what the requirement are for different fuels. It also lays out the way they "should" be taxed. Take a look. Click on your state and see...

M35-a3 can you make it a true 6 wheel drive?

If you weld it, driving on the street is going to be hard on parts. If off road only then weld away! What kind of driving are you planning on doing? Deep mud? Rock crawling in a deuce? Sand? All have pros and cons for different setups. Need more info and just for fun, pics of the ride!

Kicked out of my own driveway!

I was making a joke.... Did you not get it? I've paid a lot of money to Georgetown. My wife went there. Just got it all paid for. Again, just a joke. Lighten up.

Kicked out of my own driveway!

Did you get permission to change the color from S*&ty to blue? Don't you know that this is the kind of thing that makes the people "In CHARGE of everything" crazy. I think the house looks great and the trailer too. Get yourself a ball cap from Fordham University and wear it to the city council...

    run ins with law enforcement

Same here with the plates.... I keep taking vets, kids and members of the city council for rides. That keeps everyone happy. Attitude is everything.

Kicked out of my own driveway!

Next: 2 axle trailers, motor cycles with more than one cylinder, blue cars and rock and roll are banned. What next? Send the city council a copy of "Footloose". I agree with the previous posts.... you have to be polite and have the facts, but don't give up the fight.

    wandering deuce

Try dropping to 35 PSI and see if that helps. My ride is a lot better at this pressure. I did not have the track problem though.

    Good Brakes... Thanks GOD!!!!

I agree with the dash cam idea. I think we all have to be extra careful in these vehicles.

    Good Brakes... Thanks GOD!!!!

The chicken was good, but I spilled the coleslaw all over the floor. Took me a little bit to clean that up. Got everywhere. I had the sack in the passenger seat. I usually only use the brakes for the last couple of feet. I'm never in a hurry in the Deuce. Oh well. Live and learn. I'm just glad...

    Good Brakes... Thanks GOD!!!!

Last night, while going out to Col Sanders for takeout in the deuce, I had the chance to test my braking distance in my bobbed deuce. I had a 16 or so young gal turn in front of me as I was about 100 feet from crossing the intersection. I locked up all four 15.5's and scared the living s%^$ out...
