The way it's "titled" has nothing to do with anything !!!
Title = proof of ownership, nothing else.
The way you REGISTER it, is where things get different.
It all depends on what you want to be able to do with it.
FYI Texas has a "NON commercial, commercial drivers license".
IE you can drive...
John
Im with you on the gas motor swap.
Im about half way thru a swap with a 99 vortec 350/4l80/205 swap right now.
You CAN make the stock 6.2 motor reliable but at the end of the day it's still a GUTLESS motor.
As you can see there are also a lot of people on here swapping out the turbo 400...
Thanks for the info.
Im planning on the cc axle swap also.
From all the dually secm trucks I've seen, they have a small spacer between the wheels (for clearance).
Im considering the 255's all around with small lift.
I also have a large rear sway bar (from a p30 RV) that I would like to use...
The frame horn brackets are different but you can mount it with out the shackle extensions using the civi brackets.
Outer bumper brackets are the same.
Kingpin bushings ???
I know I'll probably catch flak for this but when it comes to tires, I don't care what the tm says, go by what's on the tire !
Tm for that truck is going by late 70's early 80's tire tech. Tires have come a long way since then.
Pretty much what mwmules said, as for time frame to receive it (sf-97), I've gotten them in as little as 3 days after auction, and as long as 10 days after auction.
Too bad some of the other places can't do that !
SF-97 isn't required to pick up, only payment receipt.
Just make sure pick up...
