interest in 2 M880's in NC??

Second one made it home today. Not running but looks pretty good. Missing tailgate. Looks like someone added dual exhaust and power stearing. It is marked as a fire department truck which is pretty funny since it looks like it had a dash fire. Dash is melted with not much left. Should have...

interest in 2 M880's in NC??

I am getting the second truck. Should be to my house this week. I am having a lot of fun with this M880 and seem to be spending less time with my CUCV. Pulled out all of the floor matting. Little rust and a couple of holes under there. I really don't like that insulation crap. It holds...

1 down Got one home yesterday. Took a little while. First, it had no gas. Took a while to prime the system. Then, it was stuck in 4 low. Fixed that and drove 140 miles home. Ran good. Idle is bad but started checking it out last night. Nice gift, somebody already added power steering...

interest in 2 M880's in NC??

Hey, I have a CUCV and have been trying to get one of the M880s for a while now. I bid on four this week BECAUSE I read the first couple and they were right down the street from me. I thought they were all at the same location. Well, the two I won are out in western NC. I am in eastern...

    Veggie M1009 Day 1

I do understand and have been researching your concerns for some time now. I am not running it straight. Right now, I am at a 50% blend with filtered WVO. I am in the process of building a biofuel setup. By the time I am done, it would have been cheaper to by on of the ready made kits but I...

    Veggie M1009 Day 1

put some more milesl yup, hush puppies are on my mind right now. I just took a few people out to look at it. I fired it up and we stood at the back. Everybody smelled seafood at the same instant. I haven't done any mods to the fuel system in the truck. Just poured in the veggie with a...

    Veggie M1009 Day 1

Drove the truck on WVO today. Came into work at 430 because my girlfriend felt "itchy" and wanted to change the freakin' sheets in the middle of the freakin' night. I decided that work sounded like fun. Went out and fired up the truck. Well, I tried to. It took 3 attempts to get it started...

    Alternative Fuel Question

Re: RE: where are you in NC Damn, too far to just stop by! As for getting rid of the water, I am going to use two methods. I have a used water heater and am going to heat the oilt for 8 hours. That is supposed to separate the water and oil. Drain the water from the bottom until oil starts...

    M1009/36 inch swampers/nice straight road

Re: RE: Re: RE: M1009/36 inch swampers/nice straight road It was not possible but I didn't remove it all the way. Just undid the rear bolts on the skid plate and the tank straps with a jack under it. Lowered it until I had enough room to get my hand back there. Didn't unhook any hoses and...

    M1009/36 inch swampers/nice straight road

Re: RE: Re: RE: M1009/36 inch swampers/nice straight road Not yet but I have started. Don't really want to put money into the 10 bolts so I have been looking for something better. Picked up a 12 bolt with 4:11 for the rear but can't do anything till I figure out what to do with the front...

    M1009/36 inch swampers/nice straight road

I am glad that my driveway is very straight. I did the rear shackle flip. Parts for the front lift haven't shown up but I go bored and mounted the tires anyway. Front didn't fit too well!!!

What neighbors have to say about my new M1009

Nice mail I got an unsigned letter in my mailbox last month after my m1009 showed up. The letter called my trucks eye sores and pieces of crap. The said my m105 trailer had to go to. I had my daughter put a little art work on the front windshield. She did a big eye with tears coming out of...
